How does a coffee maker? The basic mechanism that is used toMaking coffee in a coffee maker is the use of boiling water to extract of coarsely ground coffee beans. A coffee maker consists of two chambers, one above the other and interconnected. A chamber at the bottom is filled with boiling water rises through a tube into the chamber at the top, which contains the ground coffee beans. The liquid is then at the top through a sieve and falls into the chamber at the bottom. During this process, the gurgling of the waterrises to the top to hear - is the typical sound of a coffee maker. It is when the noise stops, you know, the process is complete.
There are different types of coffee machines, which are distinguished by their heating mechanisms. The heating mechanism could be electrical (most popular) or stove. Most coffee makers today use glass for the user to the percolation process.

Today, the coffee strong competition from other tools such as the French press brewing and the drip-brewing.
